How Microdermabrasion Can Work for You
As much as we would like to avoid them, acne scars, fine wrinkles and sunspots are all potential skin problems. Fortunately there are remedies. In the effort to improve and eliminate these skin conditions, you should try microdermabrasion treatments.
What Is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is the process of using light abrasion to partially or completely remove the stratum corneum, the dead outermost surface of the skin. It can be performed in day spas, doctors' offices, or in the privacy of your own home
The Three Different Microdermabrasion Application Techniques
Crystal Microdermabrasion
Crystal microdermabrasion has always been the traditional treatment of choice. This procedure involves using a special, hand-held device that blasts a high speed flow of aluminum oxide microcrystals onto the surface of the skin. The exfoliation process occurs from these microcrystals. A separate part of this device simultaneously vacuums away dirt, dead cells, and used crystals. There are two advantages here. The microcrystals have an irregular shape that makes them very effective abraders and their component of aluminum oxide is the second hardest mineral after diamonds.
Diamond Microdermabrasion
In this procedure a disposable or reusable diamond tipped wand runs across the surface of the skin as the abrading agent.. The benefit is it removes the danger of stray free flying crystals that can hit sensitive areas of the face closer to the eyes or mouth. The tipped wand has a better rate of precision because it is made in different shapes and sizes. The disadvantage to both crystal and diamond microdermabrasion is they require at minimum 6 to 12 sessions in a medical clinic or a day spa. These appointments last up to an hour and the price tag can reach up to a thousand dollars. Thankfully there is a cheaper and more time effective skin microdermabrasion cream.
At Home Microdermabrasion
Skin resurfacing products have a new development in that now exists a microdermabrasion cream that can be used from home. In particular if the cream is made of all natural ingredients, it can produce long lasting results on top of being easy to apply. A microdermabrasion cream abrades the surface of the skin using tiny particles to leave a 'polished' look to your face after its application. After repeated use a discolored or scarred skin surface is gradually removed. The microdermabrasion results are twofold. The surface skin cell turnover is enhanced and it causes the self replenishment of collagen and elastin to replace the older and drier layer of the skin.
A microdermabrasion skin cream called BIOSKINEXFOL has all natural biological skin regenerating activators that further stimulate new skin cells to replace the old and damaged ones. The main ingredient in this cream is snail serum (Helix Aspersa Muller). It has powerful skin renewal effects that can be applied to humans because its cells, molecules and structures are compatible with ours. It is BIOSKINEXFOL that works so well as a microdermabrasion cream because it can scrub away the top layered skin surface as well as regenerate healthy skin cells. It thereby makes the complete and effective skin care treatment one should give a try.
